Wolds Wigglers
REGULATIONS
Yorkshire Wolds Motor Club – Classic Car Runs
Wander and “Wiggle” your way through the country lanes of Yorkshire with a series of classic car runs organised by Yorkshire Wolds Motor Club
Aimed at maximum pleasure in a relaxed social environment, but easy on the pocket.
We like to do things a little different, so we are going to offer 2 levels of roadbook to suit all needs and experience. That way we can cater for those who would like to be busy while they trundle down and up the country lanes, or if you want to just take it easy a regular simple tulip road book with be there for you.
We are also going to offer a gentle time to start without the need to be getting up at an un-godly hour to meet the start, along with a sociable time to arrive back (approx 2.30pm 1st car back) so you can choose to chat to others at the finish or if need be, leave to go home.
We are also aiming to make this event accessible to all experience so if you are a first timer or a seasoned campaigner, we will have the right package to suit your needs.
(A) Yorkshire Wolds Motor Club will promote and organise a Classic Car Tour on Sunday 15th September 2024 to be called the “Wolds Wiggler” being one of a series of classic car tours arranged by the club throughout the year.

Please choose which option of road book you wish on your entry as we will not be producing two of everything. To keep costs down and your entry fee, we are not proposing to produce maps as well as road books.
(N) The route will cover approximately 98 miles on only asphalt roads with points of interest along the way and route checks to ensure you have taken the right route. To be classed as a finisher you will be asked to present the route checks info you have written down at the finish. The halfway halt after approx 53 miles, will allow you to buy refreshments if you like or enjoy a picnic if you have brought one. If you can support the halfway halt, we would be grateful to encourage them to ask us back again.
(O) The route takes in lots of country roads, narrow lanes etc. As ever, we ask you to be mindful of other road users, particularly cyclists, horse riders and walkers. We ask that you drive very very quietly and steady through all villages not on a main road ideally at no more than 20mph.
(P) No timing, take the event at your own leisure. Cars will start from the start and halfway halt on your car number. This is to try and avoid convoys in the country lanes.
