Insurance

Llandysul Motor Club will aim to provide competitor insurance through Kingfisher, however, due to pending changes with the scheme after the publication of the Regulations and opening of entries, the full details are not known. Once Kingfisher and MSUK agree on the new policy, a blanket email will be sent to all competitors informing them of the scheme, costs and associated restrictions. Please be aware, this may not arrive until after entries close, if you wish to use the scheme and don’t already have specialist insurance providing cover while competing then indicate this below.

If LLMC are not able to offer this competitor insurance, you are unable to comply with the terms or you feel the cost doesn’t offer value then you will either have to organise your own competitors insurance or withdraw your entry.

To compete on the event, ALL vehicles must have a valid motor insurance policy which provides as a minimum, Third Party Liability cover that complies with the Road Traffic Act. This can be either, by extending an existing motor policy to cover the event, or, by purchasing additional cover, providing under the Event Road Section Scheme as an adjunct to an existing motor policy. If a competitor has an extension to their existing policy, they will be required to sign a declaration that the cover complies with the requirements of the Road Traffic Act. Any responsibility for a fraudulent or misleading declaration about existing cover lies with the competitor.
